Giving yourself a few moments of peace!

When was the last time you sat still and in a spot without any noise around you?

Giving ourselves some calm still time gives us the opportunity to reflect on our day, take a calming breath and to let go of the stresses of our day. Reflecting on our day enables us to acknowledge the emotional elements of our day and then to breath them out and let them go. Taking time to consciously breath out and let go of any lingering emotions from our day gives us a clean slate to start with the next day. It also helps avoid emotional snowballing which can lead to high levels of stress.
